The Image of the Year 2021

Press conference. The jury spokesperson enters the stage wearing a dress made of recycled Polaroids with a wide scarf woven from pure gigabytes. The audience, which was still whispering at the beginning, falls silent and they eagerly await the announcement of the nominated images. This year - the speaker announces - was a special year, marked by the pandemic and its physical and mental effects on people.  An emotional conglomeration of incisive events, but one that has obviously led to a surge in creativity among the artists.

We can only agree, after we had to bring the selection down from 4,000 to 400 pictures. Please help now and vote for your favourite images.
