We’ve put together a few tips for you because it’s important for us that you are aware of how you can use our photos, and how the proper citation should look.
There are many ways in which you can use our photos. Below you’ll find a number of examples for how you can use our photos online, in print, for ads and social media applications.
If you use Photocase photos, please remember you have to cite the source of your photo. This is a requirement of our terms of use, and must include both the photographer name and Photocase as the source. You can either add the citation directly on the photo, or on the copyright/imprint page. If you wish to use a photo but not cite Photocase and the photographer as the source, you can purchase an extended “omit citation license” that removes the source requirement.
We provide a proper citation on each photo, under the Information tab, or in your downloads. You can quickly and easily copy and paste it into your project.
If you plan to use one of our photos for religious, political, medical, tobacco or alcohol related topics, you will need to obtain permission from us first, before you can use the photo. These topics are listed in our License Agreement. If you plan to use a photo in this way, please send a short email to [email protected] with the Photo ID and a few sentences on your planned usage. We’ll get back to you right away.
